NOTES ON ASSEMBLY AND SETUP OF YOUR D12:
As mentioned in the video, assembly should be straightforward. However, it's important to organize your workspace beforehand, identify the parts, and carefully match the numbers and letters on the printer and the bags to ensure correct correspondence.

3D Printer Setup Video

  • We invite you to watch the assembly and setup video in its entirety, even if this is not your first 3D printer.

  • The printer has numerous cables and connectors. Most of them are located within the chassis and are not visible. However, some of them are loose, especially those going to the print head and on the gantry. Be careful to route them correctly during assembly to avoid any snagging when the printer's moving parts are in motion.

  • The printer is delivered with all the tools necessary for assembly and setup. There are additional tools that are not required for assembly but may be needed in case of disassembly of certain parts. Make sure to keep them.
  • At the end of the assembly, you may have some extra screws or spare parts. These are duplicates in case of loss or other issues. Keep them safely.
  • As mentioned in the video, the nozzle may have some residue from previous filaments, and the PTFE (Teflon) tube may have small marks at each end. This is entirely normal, as many components of the machine are tested in the factory, especially the print head and extruders.
  • If you have opted for the Dual version, you can install the second extruder now or at a later time. The printer is designed to operate in single extruder mode. However, if you decide to install the second extruder and do not intend to use it, do not connect the filament sensor cable or insert a small piece of filament into it. Without this, the printer will not start, thinking that filament is missing for printing.
  • Before putting the 3D printer into operation for the first time, remember to lower the bed by turning the knobs located underneath. This is to prevent the nozzle from potentially crashing into the bed and causing damage to the machine. In theory, this may not be necessary, but since you will need to level the bed later on, leave some room for the nozzle to move.
